From the bench to the bedside - research that matters

Some of the researchers in the Brain Tumours Group at Children’s Cancer Institute who are making these trials possible

The Brain Tumours Group at CCI is behind four clinical trials for kids with DIPG

One of the key reasons we partnered with Children’s Cancer Institute is their focus on translational medicine - getting cutting-edge research to the bedside of sick kids. It is critical to us that you know that the money you give is doing that job. Be enormously proud that you are funding the research that currently has four clinical trials for DIPG and brain cancer open in Australia and internationally:
✨ Levi’s Catch, Australia’s first CAR-T Cell trial for children with brain cancer underway at Sydney Children’s Hospital
✨DFMO/AMXT 1501, open in Australia and the US for kids over 12
✨CBL0137, which has 12 patients enrolled internationally and is slated to treat the first Australian children this month 🙌
✨ACT001, currently open in Australia and overseas
